Holistic wellness is the well executed discipline of balance.
When considering our holistic wellness, we have to think about all aspects of our healing.
What does that even mean? All aspects of healing? I'll reverse an example scenario to make it more clear.
Here's an example of a holistic breakdown: We deal with the break up of a relationship by eating junk food for three months straight. In that time we develop a chronic health condition and gain 20 pounds. We then isolate from others because we are embarrassed by the 20 pounds we just put on. THIS HAPPENS. A LOT!
How to turn a holistic breakdown into holistic wellness? Stay on top of your healing, even when things are good in life, and even when you are in your twenties. Keep your toolbox of holistic healing remedies primed and ready at all times.
In this article, I will provide you with 7 simple steps that will get you that much closer to holistic wellness with a blooming body, a ravishing spirit, and an enchanted mind.
#1 Listen to a podcast on health.
I have armed my tool belt with holistic healing techniques for many years now, so I am always ready to step into action if anything unexpectedly shows up in my life.
THIS IS IMPORTANT TO NOTE. When things get hard, you have to be armed.
I have found some amazing health advice, just searching for health podcasts on the apple podcast app.
If you don't have an apple phone, do not be concerned, this guy has a bunch of books out, and they can also be checked out at the library.
Here’s a resource I’d love to share with you!
His name is Anthony William and he calls himself the Medical Medium. He is far from mainstream, but that’s what I appreciate most about him. And plus his humor is great, and his consultations with Source for helping others are Divinely led which i respect.
He teaches doctors, the things that doctors do not learn in medical school. And many doctors love him for it! And many do not love him for his wisdom. Why? Because his knowledge challenges the establishment of a broken medical system.
Here are the important things: he is saving lives, impacting the way we view health, and teaching us how to live a in a body free of inflammation.
Here’s a quickie introduction on Extra. Not like I watch Extra. Or any television for that matter.
He has over 130 podcast episodes on the apple podcast app. and you’ll want to hear them. Some of them you may not want to hear, such as his podcast on eggs. Ouch! My favorite comfort food is not what I thought it was! Listen to one of his podcasts. You’ll be hooked.

#2 Increase your physical healing with celery juice
Unless you are in you are a college athlete in your mid-twenties, you are likely dealing with a health issue of some sort.
In order to up our holistic wellness game, we have to consider our diet for healing serious health conditions.
Believe it or not, a cold sore is a serious health condition. Cold sores stem from a viral infection in the body. A viral condition will develop into a number of manifestations that live in the liver.
Celery juice is an amazing cleanser for the liver. Unless you are not eating any fats, which is unlikely, celery juice helps to break down fats, which is needed for the liver to function well and for our blood not to thicken.
Celery juice also helps to slow the oxidation of heavy metals in the body. When heavy metals in the body oxidize, we are subject to a host of health issues, especially in the brain.
Try 12-16 oz. of fresh celery juice a day for any health condition and you are likely to experience an improvement in your chronic health condition.
#3 Create Boundaries
Holistic wellness means improving our intellectual mind.
Learning new wisdom for our health, and healing our physical bodies, automatically remedies much of our emotional state, so the holistic healing wheel is in motion even if we start with our physical healing.
But let’s say you are going through a tough time in life. Your best friend betrayed you. You are divorcing your wife, or you are fighting all the time about finances. Or one of your parents are ill. Your beloved dog died. You don’t have money to pay your rent.
These are all very stressful circumstances, and if we are not equipped with a tool belt full of stress reducing techniques already in place, we can feel overwhelmed and then start to eat poorly, stop exercising, yell at the cashier at Ralphs, cut someone off on the road while driving, etc.
So, what can you do today to improve your emotional health?
Create Boundaries. Think about one person that you really want to give a piece of your mind. Recreate that story. Appeal to your higher self and practice a new way of communicating with them in front of the mirror.
Here’s an example:
Your Truth
You are extremely annoyed with Sandy because, although you love her, every time you see her, she will not stop talking about the news. In fact you just want to tell her to shut up! You want to tell her that you don’t give a flying rip about the news, politics, or the newest wave of fear whipping though our land.
Recreating Your Truth
“Sandy, I love how passionate you are about what is going on in the world, and that you take a strong interest in things outside of yourself. But I’ve decided to take a sabbatical from the news, because I have more peace in my day when I do.”
#4 Financial Intention
This pandemic has been so difficult financially for many, many people. And while some have had financial hardships, others saw their businesses soar, with many new businesses created during this depressed time in history.
How might we create a new financial realty to improve our holistic wellness? Intention setting. It is EVERYTHING!
Is intention setting an overplayed ‘fad’ word that will die off like the cassette tape? I don’t think so.
If we are wanting to improve our finances, while complaining about the money we do not have, the likelihood of a shift is an anomaly.
Creating an intention for financial victory OPENs DOORS.
Complaining about our financial situation SHUTS DOORS AND SEALS THEM TIGHT.
Each and every time we catch ourselves falling into the trap of bringing energy to our lack, we must PIVOT and realign with the INTENTION of what financial circumstance we want.

#5 Do Your Chemistry HOMEwork for Holistic Wellness
Have you done a chemical check on your home lately?
HERE’S 6 THINGS YOU CAN DO TO MAKE THE CHEMISTRY OF YOUR HOME LESS TOXIC.
- 1Consider going through your medicine cabinet and throwing out all expired medication.
- 2If you have scented candles, replace them with aromatic diffuser. Scented candles are very toxic for our liver and hormones.
- 3If you have shampoos with sulphates, switch over to one without, it will help the environment, and help your hormonal balance.
- 4Throw away bug killers and research what essential oils are effective for the bugs you in your home.
- 5Switch your laundry detergent to a non-toxic eco-friendly brand, helping the environment, your skin, and your hormones.
- 6Reduce your plastic usage. Purchase refillable water bottles and glass storage containers instead of Ziplock bags.
#6 Practice Love
I am Christian, and being Christian does not limit my willingness to experience the teachings of others from different religions. There are God gifted teachers from all walks of life and all religions.
Being open to learn, gives us a better understanding of our own spiritual text of preference. Being closed to learn from others, disables our ability to learn at a deeper level from our own spiritual text of preference.
The problem with much of our world, is in the warring over belief systems. My belief is right. Your belief is wrong. You are bad. I am good. You are weaker spiritually, I have it all figured out. All of this stems from fear.
Judgement comes from fear. Love and fear cannot coexist. But a Hindu, a Christian, a Muslim, a Krishna, a Jew, a Taoist, a Buddhist, etc. CAN COEXIST, if LOVE is the commonality.
TAKE THIS WEEK TO PRACTICE LOVE.
This will be a game changer for your holistic wellness.
#7 Drive-In Adventure
With two years of a pandemic our social activities were shelved. Or in many cases, our social life was rearranged to include more web-based interactions. But two years on the web can take its toll on our holistic wellness and our physical well-being, with hours in front of a screen.
If there is one thing the pandemic has done for us, it is to teach us to think in a different way.
While you may have been pining for your favorite back row aisle movie seat, with buttered popcorn and licorice ropes, others were finding the seat of their own Prius more comfortable than previously thought.
Give the latter a try if you haven’t already done so. Maybe skip the buttered popcorn and licorice ropes, and bring your own pistachio oat bars, a few seed crackers with nut butter, or a basket of your favorite berries.
